Welcome to The IC-REST 2025

Climate change is becoming an increasingly pressing global challenge. Its far-reaching impacts not only affect the environment, but also have significant consequences for the quality of human life, including the fulfillment of basic needs, health, and overall well-being. To meet this challenge, a sustainable development paradigm is required. One way is to link these parameters of life with new technologies. The utilization of innovative technologies plays a vital role in climate change adaptation and mitigation.

Conferences or scientific meetings can be a place to channel superior research ideas, form a research collaboration and develop superior research between researchers, academics, government and private industry which is a global need, especially in producing innovative technology to overcome the above challenges. In line with this, the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Hasanuddin, Indonesia, held an international conference entitled “The 3rd International Conference on Research in Engineering and Science Technology 2025” or IC-REST 2025.

This conference theme, “SMART Engineering Innovations for Mitigating Disruption Toward Global Sustainability” embodies the essence of this extraordinary event and also is an invaluable opportunity to lectures and researchers to present and publish their research results. The authors participating in the conference would have a chance to publish their manuscript in an international journal or in a proceeding indexed by Scopus (in the process of agreement). Please access International Conference Website page for more detail information related to publication options.
